I'm planning to study Gallery Management at a community college in Santa Fe. How far will this get me career wise? Is there anyone out there who is a gallery owner? Not very. An Associates degree in Gallery Management is one of those degrees that one would pursue for the love of art and probably not for the money. I think your best bet would be to visit local art galleries and ask the owners/managers how they got there. People love to talk about themselves, so it shouldn't be too difficult to get them to open up.
Those galleries are in business to make money. I don't think you could go wrong with a business degree.How far will an Associates' degree in Gallery Management get you?
Maybe sweeping floors and set up n take downs.
I think you should go for a bachelors.
