im in high school, and i just started looking at colleges. i have been looking different majors in undergraduate schools and i have noticed that there in business management and equine management. if you were to run your own business, that is a horse barn which one would be better to take? and what classes would you take in equine management that you wouldn't in business management? thanks!!What is the difference between majoring in business management and equine management?
Equine management will include Equine Science courses. The focus will be more on horse related care with possibly some business thrown in.
I'd say go with the Business degree that way you aren't locked into a very narrow job field where more people are losing money rather than making it currently. You can learn horse care out of college and you will have some room for some Equine classes with your elective requirements.
